Guest Access versus Member Access
« on: October 26, 2010, 03:37:52 PM »
Hello all -

This note is to clarify some questions that people have had.

We have received requests to join from as far away as Latvia and Sweden and while we would gladly accept you as fellow Vulcan enthusiasts and members, that would sure be one hell of a trip to attend group rides and meetings.
Also there are MANY, MANY European Vulcan Riders Association chapters that I am sure are a lot closer  ;D
If you find there isn't a local one, there are points of contact to help you start your own chapter if you should choose to do so.

Here is the link to the International VRA site boasting of chapters in over 15 countries:
http://www.vulcanriders.net/

For people in the US that want to join or start a local chapter, you can locate information on starting a chapter here:
http://vulcanriders.us/
Just click on "Start a Chapter" on the left hand menu.
Or to locate one that is close click on the "Chapters" link.

Guests (essentially anyone other than members) only have READ access by default.
This will allow you as a Guest to read any posts on boards that are viewable by guests and members, but no write access.
The point of this being that the officers want to point you back toward the main web page for you to see what our group is founded on and our core beliefs and values so you can make an educated decision before joining.

There are Member Only boards that do not appear to Guests for one reason or another and require a PAID yearly membership as well as being a member in good standing to access.

To become a member you may submit a Membership Request Form, located under the  "Join the Club!" button on the menu of the front page or by going to http://www.scpavra.com/membership

This page explains everything from dues to requirements and most things in between.

Once you fill this out the form is responded to by one of the Officers with further instructions on where to send membership dues, when to expect your membership patch, etc.

For any questions you may have that is not covered or if you cannot seem to find the answer , you can always contact one of the officers by going to: http://scpavra.com/contact_page/contact.html or by clicking on the "Contact Us" button on the main page at: http://scpavra.com
