Answers

What is the Vulcan Riders Association?

The South Central Pennsylvania Vulcan Riders Association is the local chapter of an International organization of Kawasaki Vulcans owners. The US National website can be found here.

How much does a membership cost?
Membership dues are $24 per year. This will entitle you to a SCPAVRA patch, discounts at sponsoring dealerships and regular invitations to Chapter rides.

Do I have to own a Kawasaki Vulcan to become a member?
Yes, to become a full member you must own a Kawasaki Vulcan or be the significant other of a Vulcan rider who is a member. The Vulcan Riders Association was created for owners of Kawasaki Vulcans. We also accept Associate memberships for those who do not own Kawasaki Vulcans.

Can friends or spouses who don’t own a Vulcan participate in Chapter rides?
Yes. All riders are welcome to participate in rides and other Chapter activities.

How much time will be spent on raising money versus riding?
Our focus is on riding and having fun. Currently, we have no recurring debt and no obligation to raise money. Any decision to raise money will be made at the request of the members and put to a vote.

Can I come to one of the meetings before I join?
We welcome all Vulcan riders to participate in our meetings, events or rides and meet our members before making a decision to join. We’re not selling anything except fun.
